Police commissioner, Josephine Kakooza dies

The Uganda police force has today lost one of it's longest serving officer in uniform who has served in force for the last 50 years.

The late commissioner of police Josephine Kakoza has been the the director of Uganda police brass band.

According to the police spokesperson Emillian Kayima commissioner of police Kakooza breath her last at Namirembe hospital today morning after cardiac attack.

Commissioner Kakoza joined the police force in 1969 at the age of 14 years and all along has been working in directorate of Uganda police force band.

We regret to announce the death of our own one of the current longest serving police officer CP Josephine Kakoza who joined the force in 1969 and has all along given her life serving in Uganda police force,, says Emillian Kayima.

Kayima adds that the late Kakooza passed on early this morning as she was being taken to Namirembe hospital.

He says she has not been sick details of her cause of her death will be announced later.

Kayima sends condolences to the family members, children, police fraternity and friends to the great loss of beloved one.
