Police has deployed heavily at Government universities after students threatened to strike today.
The students are demanding that Universities should re-open after a strike by both teaching and non-teaching staff demanding salary enhancements affected the official opening of the universities that was meant to kick off on the 6th of this month.
Out of the five universities only three which include Busitema forest in Tororo ,Mbarara University and Kyambogo university have agreed to re-open.
