Police holds 241 suspects for disrupting order during Easter

Police says   241 suspects were arrested in Kampala metropolitan area during Easter celebration.
Patrick Onyango the police spokesperson says although the festivities ended peacefully, 8 murder cases were registered in Kampala, Buku, Adjumani, Kyotera, Kotido, Kabong and Busia, while two people died of food poisoning and two others committed suicide in Atyak village in Amuru district.
Onyango says that  the 241 suspects were arrested, for snatching phones and pick pocketing. Onyango adds that police also deployed in black  spots  like Katwe Kinyoro , Clock tower, Kisenyi, Bwaise as well as Nateete where people who wanted to cause harm had staged and they were arrested.
