Police investigating NGO premises robbery in Kulambiro

Kiira road police is Investigating the circumstances under which thieves broke into offices of the national organization of people leaving with Hepatitis B located in Kulambiro hill, Kisaasi. Residents lynched one of the thieves to death and left another nursing serious injuries.

The organization executive director Kenneth Kabagambe confirmed the arrest of one of the thieves who was armed with a machete, master keys and other weapons. He was arrested as he attempted to escape on a bodaboda but run out of luck when the motor bike run out of fuel.

Kabagambe adds that details of what was stolen are scanty since they have not yet gained full access to the offices which have been cordoned off by police as scene of crime.

Deputy police spokesperson of Kampala metropolitan Luke Owoyesigyire says one of the thugs rescued from angry residents of Kulambiro is currently admitted at Mulago hospitals nursing injuries.He adds that they have recovered three monitors , impounded one motorcycle,and other dangerous objects to help in Investigation.
