Police releases pope’s visit traffic out flow

Uganda police says there will be no parking for general public and only vehicles bearing stickers allowed access to VIP parks at both the catholic and protestant shrines at Namungongo during Pope Francis’ visit this weekend. While releasing traffic out flow to Namungongo, Kololo and other parts of Kampala the Pope will be visiting, police spokesperson Fred Enanga said private vehicles, taxis and motor bikes will not be allowed beyond Kireka Trading center while buses will only be allowed to drop pilgrims to kyaliwajara.

Final touches are being made at Namungongo Martyrs shrine ahead of the Holy father’s visit. The team leader for the construction at the protestant shrine, RT,Arch Bishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo says however that more funding is needed for work to continue even after the Pope’s visit.
