Police in Kampala says they will not allow any processions meant to welcome Dr. Kizza Besigye from abroad.
While addressing the media today, the Police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi says they have received reliable information that FDC officials are organizing a huge reception for Dr. Besigye as he returns to the country on Thursday.
Afande Kaweesi however says nobody will be allowed to assemble along Entebbe road to disrupt peace.
He strongly warns that whoever goes ahead with the plan will be arrested and dealt with according.
FDC officials however maintain that they will not change their programme adding that they have already informed the police about the same.
Wafula Oguttu the party Eastern region deputy chairperson says they wrote to the police on the 23rd of September about the matter adding that they are now waiting for traffic guidelines from the police and security.
