- A One on One Interview with Levy of #TheLateDate

If you have listened to Capital radio lately , you must have heard our new talent on Air. Arinaitwe Innocent Levy will be hosting the Late Date show replacing Daniel Irish who left last year.
#TheLateDate show starts from 7Pm till late.
The flagship evening show has the #8To8 count down of the top eight songs of the day requested by our listeners, love confessions as well as Love Dedications where listeners dedicate songs to their loved ones, parents, siblings, friends and spouses.
Levy joins Capital Radio from Bob FM where he has been working for the last six years.
Capital Radio’s Chief News Editor Gloria Nakiyimba, caught up with the suave radio host in a one on one interview to get to know him better.

Question: Who is Levy?
Response: Levy is a go getter fun guy to hang with. Levy is an open minded guy, social, friendly and a guy who respects everyone in their capacities. That is me in a nutshell.
How should your audience identify you:
Response: I feel they should identify me by my unique craft that I hope will stand out on this new journey I emabrk on. I am the only Levy that is a radio host.(Laughs faintly). They should also identify me with my unique voice that I treasure so much.
Dj or Presenter?
Response: It’s just Levy. I am not a Dj. I am a radio host.
What should the audience expect from you?
Response: My audience should expect something fresh, fresh sound, fresh interactions, basically they should expect more fun on the show. It’s just gonna be a cool fun show. They should expect the best from me.
What are some of your interests/hobbies?
Response: I love football, I love swimming and I love traveling
Which football team do you support?
Arsenal, born in the blood (laughs)
Any side hustles?
Response: Apart from radio, I MC at Weddings, corporate events and I am a voice over artist. I hosted the Abryanz Style & Fashion awards in 2018 and 2019 held in Kampala. That’s the biggest I have done.
When did you start this career?
Response: I started in 2015 as an intern at Bob FM and then I was retained spending a total of six years with them. I think I am the only presenter in Bob FM that has done all their shows. I did the morning, I did the evening, I did the mid-morning, I did the night and I was a sit in presenter as well.
So basically I am versatile. Anywhere you put me, I will give it my best. But officially I was doing the Night show at Bob FM.
And guess what, Capital Radio is now my second home.
How do you feel, now that you have joined Capital Radio?
Response: Capital Radio is the biggest Radio Station in the country and ofcourse, as a person I have always loved to spread my wings and work for bigger brands. And here I am.
So basically what I feel is unexplainable, but I really feel good that I am working with a team of many amazing people, a team of experienced people in this industry, a team of celebrities. And I am glad to be a part of them as well. It’s a good feeling.
Are you married, have any children?
Response: I am not married, I have no kids. So I'm a single guy
So you are a free bird?
Response: Hastily utters out a strong NO.
Anything else you would want your fans to know about you?
Response: I am open to my fans. Since it’s the Late Date, any issues they want to share with me, I am open to them, and accessible across all social media platforms.
