Museveni, First Lady Launch Uganda's AFCON Hosting Bid

In a momentous event held at State House, Entebbe, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, along with First Lady Mama Janet Kataha Museveni and the Minister of Education and Sports, officially unveiled Uganda's ambitious bid to host the prestigious African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

President Museveni further underscored the role of sports as a source of entertainment, highlighting that engaging in sporting activities and being avid spectators offer a healthier alternative to engaging in negative behaviors or excessive socializing at bars.
