"Our CSR initiative is set to propel EXPRESS FC to even greater success, both on and off the field," said Andrew Kitamirike, Head of Operations at SEMABET Uganda. "Our collaboration with EXPRESS FC is a strategic alignment with our vision to be at the forefront of developing Ugandan grass roots soccer.

By supporting EXPRESS FC, we connect directly with the hearts of Ugandan football fans while staying true to our CSR commitments. We have funded the transfer of one of Uganda’s top left-backs, Mustafa Kizza, from KCCA FC to EXPRESS FC, which will significantly strengthen the club's squad."

Andrew also highlighted SEMABET's broader CSR initiatives, such as their project in Kyamukola village, Kabarole District: "Our CSR efforts go beyond football. In Kyamukola, we provided sustainable access to clean water through an electric-powered well and a 20,000-litre reservoir tank, addressing critical community needs. Whether it's on the football pitch or in our communities, SEMABET is dedicated to being a force for positive change."
