Police releases traffic guidelines for Buganda jubilee celebrations

Kampala traffic police has issued guidelines that will be followed tomorrow at Lubiri -Mengo  for the 25th silver jubilee celebrations of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.

While addressing the press today at police headquarters the commander Kampala metropolitan traffic police, Norman Musinga says that all roads leading to Lubiri ring road are going to be diverted to motorists.

Musinga says Very Very Important Persons VVIP  will access the venue through the main gate, And VIP’s will access the venue through Lubiri high gate and park as directed by the traffic personnel.

He adds that all Kabaka’s subject who will attend the fanction moving on foot will access the venue through the routes where they will be access controls for through.

UBL contributes UGX50M towards Kabaka’s 25th coronation

Uganda breweries limited has contributed 50 million shillings towards the Kabaka’s 25th coronation anniversary which is slated for 31st this month.

While handing over the contribution to Buganda Kingdom, Juliana Kaggwa, the Uganda breweries marketing director also announced the special celebratory price offer on Ngule beer of Uganda shillings 2000.

She commended the Buganda kingdom for being a progressive cultural institution that not only promotes the preservation of culture but also championing economic empowerment.
