Tourism minister launches Rolex festival

The youth are being urged to embrace the sale of Rolex as a way of earning an income and improving their livelihood. The former minister for Tourism Maria Mutagamba was speaking ahead of the Kampala Rolex Festival this Sunday the 21st of August at Uganda Museum under theme Towards a hygienic environment to Youth empowerment.
She says the Rolex has empowered communities all over Uganda through feeding and providing income generating activities. The festival will held annually with aim of promoting health and quality standards in the Rolex business. It is also intended to enhance the delicacy to attract more youth to get involved at a commercial level as suppliers, stall operators Rolex chiefs and customers.
In the past month, the Ugandan rolex attracted the world's culinary attention  when it was mentioned on CNN as one of the fastest new African fast food.
A rolex is an egg, vegetables and chapati wrap that is one of the commonest fast street food available in almost every part of Uganda especially in urban centers.
