TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL WANTS NURSERY CHILDREN TO LEARN ABOUT CORRUPTION

By Alice Lubwama

Civil society organization transparency international Uganda wants the ministry of education to have an element of corruption integrated in school syllabus right away from nursery to tertiary level so that

children appreciate the issues of corruption since they have grown in an era where the vice is at its pick.

Speaking at the regional anti-corruption conference going on in Kampala, the chairman board transparency international Uganda John Mary Odoy said that children should know that corruption is bad when they are still young because they are future leaders of Uganda.

The purpose of this conference is to share experiences, best practices and comprehensive methods taken to fight corruption by both state and none state actors across the region.
