URA recalls contractor over leaking business

Uganda Revenue Authority has assured the public that the two reported leakages at the new Tower have not caused any financial loss to the public and that the defects were being addressed.

this follows two reported leakages that have caused a public embarrassment on a multi billion shilling building that cost the tax payer over 2.7 billion shillings.

yesterdays rains that that flooded the atrium that allows free ventilation triggered a public concern ,questioning weather the public got value for money since the structure was financed by the Government of Uganda.

How ever the commissioner general Uganda Revenue Authority Doris Akol says the contractor has been alerted to correct the defects since the contract allowed the user to ensure that the building is up to the required standard.
