USAID has donated road equipment to National Forestry Authority

USAID has donated road   equipment worth two billion shilling to National Forestry Authority-NFA. The equipment will be used to open up roads in all central forest reserves.

NFA executive director Michael Mugisa says the   tractors, road excavators, grading machine among others will help the authority open up forest boundaries and create a cordial relationship populations leaving adjacent to the forests.

Mugisa has appealed to Ugandans to conserve the country’s biodiversity in order to avert the effects of climate change.
