A 20year old man who was arrested for moving during Curfew hours has been charged and remanded to Kitalya government prison.
Wycliff Wanzavona appeared before Makindye court chief magistrate Prosy Katushabe who charged him with defying a presidential directives and theft of sodas.
He has however denied the said offenses and has been remanded to Kitalya until the 19th of May for trial.
According to the charge sheet, the suspect on the 18th of April 2020 was found in Makindye moving during curfew time.
Prosecution further states that on the same date the accused stole sodas valued at 400,000shillings property of Patrick Kwizera.
