Uganda Tourism Board has partnered with Emirates Airline to boost Uganda's tourism on the global landscape.

In a strategic move aimed at strengthening tourism growth and fostering economic development, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has partnered with Emirates Airlines to spotlight the beauty of destination Uganda on a global stage.

Under this initiative, passengers traveling between Entebbe and Dubai will now be treated to captivating promotional videos showcasing Uganda's unparalleled beauty, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. This immersive experience aims to ignite a desire to travel among travelers, enticing them to explore the charming landscapes of the "Pearl of Africa."

Expressing her enthusiasm for the collaboration, Lilly Ajarova, CEO of the Uganda Tourism Board, remarked, "This partnership with Emirates Airlines presents a remarkable opportunity to showcase Uganda's warmth and beauty to people across the world.”  

Emirates Airlines will extend exclusive benefits to support tourism travel, including a 10% discount on fares for passengers booking tourism-related travels through the airline. Additionally, UTB staff, hoteliers, tour operators, and media partners will enjoy special privileges, further facilitating accessibility to Uganda's extraordinary attractions.

Pearl Kakooza, Chairperson of the Uganda Tourism Board, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating, "This partnership will enhance the visibility of Uganda's tourist attractions and create viable synergies within the tourism sector.”

Furthermore, hoteliers partnering with UTB will benefit from an enhanced baggage allowance of 10 kilograms per passenger, enabling seamless transportation of essential supplies and amenities. UTB staff members will also receive a 20% discount on excess luggage, empowering them to further support Uganda's growing tourism industry.
