Fire outbreak: Fire burns four relatives in the house.

Four people from the same family perished in a fire that gutted their house in Nabutiti zone in Kansanga a suburb of Kampala. The deceased have been identified as Twasirye Annet 35 years wife to Bagyenda Ronald of Mukono, her three children namely Akankwasa Elijah 10 years, Chakwa Musa 5years and a six month old baby only identified as Rebecca .

According to Luke Owoyesigyire the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson the deceased slept immediately after having their supper and left the candle wax burning that set fire on mattresses that spread all over the house.

Owoyesigyire adds that the fire brigade and rescue service were called in to extinguish the fire but by the time they arrived the four had already died in the inferno.

Fire fighters only managed to save the building. bHe further blamed the residents of Kansanga in Nabuti zone for building in road reserve which frustrated fire fighters since their failed to reach the scene on time due to the many structures built in the road.

The defiance Secretary for Nabuti zone Denis Kato descrimed the late Twasirye Annet as a person who has been very cooperative in community and a law abiding citizen.

Kato also urged the members of the community to stop leaving burning candle wax with children unattended to avoid such similar incidents from happening. The bodies of the deceased were taken to Mulago hospital city mortuary and police have launched their investigation into the matter.
