INCLUDE INTELECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM

By Moses Kidandi

The Government has asked the National curriculum development center to include the Property rights and innovation in the Education curriculum.

The remarks were made by the justice and constitutional affairs minister Kahinda Otafire at a National symposium on intellectual property rights by Universities and Development institutions organized by the Uganda registration services Bureau.

Intellectual property rewards the person putting in an effort into an intellectual creation to be benefit from the result of his or her endeavor.

Otafire says including the course in the curriculum will reward and encourage more Ugandans to be creative in different disciplines.
