The ACT subsidized malaria medicine to be used in private health facilities in a bid to eradicate malaria by 2020 has been unveiled.

Malaria Control program manager in the ministry of health Dr Jimmy Opigo says this medicine commonly known as Lumaterm with a green leaf label has been in existence and proved reliable in treating malaria.

He says subsidizing the drug has been made possible in  partnership with World Health Organization, and the Global Fund.
