Newly appointed Army spokesman Brig. Richard Karemire has appealed to the media to work closely with him in promoting peace and unity in the country.
Kiramire was speaking at the ministry of defense HQs in Mbuya as he took over office and instruments of power from his predecessor.
Kiramire was appointed recently by the commander in Chief Gen Yoweri Museveni to replace Lt. Col. Paddy Ankunda who has been Army spokesman for close to five years.
Brig Kiramire has pledged to work with everyone to inform the country of the status and progress of the National Army.
