Nurses threaten to strike

Nurses under their umbrella body of the Uganda nurses and midwives union are threatening industrial action next week if the government doesn’t engage them in negotiating for their salaries.
The union president Justus Kiplangat says, " government has disregarded their road map for salary increment adding that all nurses will not report for duty on the 23rd of this month if govt does not listen to their plea."
