Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso won the case against his former purported manager Karma Ivein.

In 2022, Kama Ivien Management Company LTD boss Ivan Lubega dragged Pallaso to court over breach of contract. He claimed that the singer failed to honor the clauses in their work agreement that was signed in August 2019.

Kama Ivan wanted the singer to provide an account of all proceeds attained from shows and performances that were made without his knowledge and pay all sums found due and interest thereon for all shows booked and performed without his consent.

However the high Court of Uganda commercial Division ended the legal battle in Pallaso’s favor. After over a year of the case hearing, it was revealed that Kama Ivien Management Company was not a legal entity at the time of signing the agreement with  Pallaso, hence having no capacity to enter into the contract consequently.

According to  Lady Justice Patricia Kahigi Asiimwe there was no artist management contract between Kama Ivan and Pallaso .
