GOVERNMENT DEVELOPS POLICY ON PEACE BUILDING AND CONFLICT PREVENTION.

The Government has developed a policy intended to guide the Nation on peace building and conflict prevention.

The proposals develop by the office of the prime minister are being prepared for debate at cabinet level before they are presented to the president and parliament for approval.

The policy code named the National policy for pace building and conflict prevention contains proposals and guidelines on how the country can foster the existing peace and give godliness on effective conflict resolution.

Speaking at the symposium on the development of the policy at Hotel Africana, state minister for relief and disaster preparedness Musa Echweru says the policy will see Uganda achieve lasting peace and concentrate on development.
