Preparations to take home Ugandans stranded at the Uganda-South Sudan boarder of Eregu are underway.
Aswa Region Police spokesperson Patrick Okema says these include people who lack transport to take them back to their original home area because they lost their properties and money as they fled fighting.
Okema noted that majority of refugees crossing into Uganda are women and children.
