Business man Hamis Kigundu has unveiled more new developments at Nakivubo stadium which among includes modern Gym and Boxing Ring a head of opening this newly constructed sports facility.
The facility is expected to be commissioned by His excellence HE President Yoweri kaguta Museveni very soon.
Kigundu is optimist that the Gym and Boxing Ring will further promote sports especially boxing, the sport discipline which is most loved by the young people especially from Guetto.
According to him, identifying and nurturing talent among youth could help to address unemployment among them.Other new developments is basketball and netball courts.
The stadium of 20,000 seater capacity will also have multi-level parking able to accommodate over 1,000 cars on top of other amenities like restaurants, and other facilities for people with disabilities (PWDs).
Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium, commonly referred to as Nakivubo Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kampala, Uganda. It is currently not in use but was previously used mostly for football matches and served as the home venue of SC Villa.
