The Government has come up with new measures of easing international and regional trade by providing on spot inspections and clearance of goods at exit points.

Such goods would be mainly agriculture inputs in a bid to save expenses exporters incur when goods get destroyed in foreign destinations.

Other measures include training of local farmers on post harvest training so that exporters get quality agricultural products.

The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Robina Nabbanja made the remarks as she addressed trade representatives of various companies at a Trade Representative Forum organized by the presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID).
