DPP Sanctions Murder Charge Against Katanga's Wife Molly

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Jane Frances Abodo has sanctioned the charge of Murder against Katanga Molly in connection to the death of Katanga Henry, her husband.

Katanga  a renown businessman died of gunshot wounds  on 2nd November 2023 at her home in Mbuya, a suburb of Kampala.

He was reportedly found dead, and later his wife Molly is said to have collapsed and taken to  hospital . 

In addition, the DPP has sanctioned the charge of Destroying evidence against Kakwanza  Patricia a  and  Nkwanzi Martha Katanga both daughters to the deceased  for tampering with the  evidence at the crime scene.

Furthermore, the DPP has sanctioned the charge of Accessory after the fact of murder against Amanyire George a house help for tampering with the scene of crime    and  Dr Otai Charles for managing the scene of crime .

Since the murder of Katanga Henry, Prosecution–Guided Investigations by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) and Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) have been ongoing culminating in the arrest of the suspects.
