The Nakawa Chief magistrates court has ordered for the arrest of Martha Nkwanzi Katanga, a daughter to deceased businessman Henry Katanga.
Nkwanzi is wanted to answer charges of Destroying evidence in her father's murder of 2nd November 2023 at their family home in Mbuya.
Chief magistrate Erias Kakooza issued the warrant on the request of chief prosecutor Jonathan Muwaganya who said that there is no justification for Nkwanzi to refuse to respond to three sets of court summons yet she is an out -patient who attends Rosewell Hospital while coming from home.
Muwaganya said since Nkwanzi is not hospitalized for the post par-tum care, she ought to be arrested by police and presented before court .
Katanga's window , Molly Katanga has been issued with 4th set of Criminal Summons after court was satisfied that she is still hospitalized and being treated for the injuries she allegedly suffered during her husband's murder .
For the three suspects already on remand , the DPP says police inquiries are still -on going and they cannot be releases on bail since the case files has been called by the High court for review .
